CrowdStrike builds identity system for AI agents, not humans

CrowdStrike released Agentic Identity Provider, a system that identifies and registers AI agents before granting them access to company systems, filling a gap in how enterprises manage software that acts autonomously.
Traditional identity systems rely on human logins and passwords; this new tool issues cryptographic identities to agents and brokers temporary access tokens scoped to minimum required permissions, with every action traceable to a human owner.
The company also rebuilt its Charlotte AI investigation tool to dispatch security agents across endpoint, identity, cloud and network domains simultaneously rather than sequentially, reducing investigation time from hours to minutes.
CrowdStrike added Real-Time Supply Chain Attack Protection to block malicious code packages before they install, addressing threats like the 131 poisoned AI framework packages compromised by North Korea-linked attackers in 2026.
