Substack partners with AI detection company Pangram
Substack has integrated Pangram's detection technology to identify AI-written content on its platform and discourage its publication. The detection system is imperfect and may flag some human-written content as AI-generated, creating false positives. The partnership reflects a choice to prioritize human authorship over perfectly accurate detection, accepting some innocent writers will be caught.
